By using our application, you agree to the following basic terms. Our mission is to provide a safe, human-centric, and algorithm-free social experience.
1. The "Human-First" Connection
You understand that noalgo.me is built on physical, in-person connections. You agree to use the QR Handshake feature responsibly and only to connect with individuals you have met in the real world. Misuse of the connection system to harass or impersonate others is strictly prohibited.
2. User-Generated Content
You own the content you post (text, images, events). However, by posting to noalgo.me, you grant us a limited license to host and display that content to your designated Rooms and friends. You are solely responsible for the content you share.
3. Prohibited Conduct
- Upload or share illegal, harmful, or predatory content.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer the app or bypass security features.
- Use automated scripts or bots to interact with the service.
- Harass, bully, or intimidate other users within your Rooms or connections.
4. No Algorithmic Manipulation
We promise not to use algorithms to manipulate your feed or exploit your attention. In return, you agree not to attempt to "game" the system for virality, as noalgo.me is designed for chronological, authentic interaction only.
5. Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or compromise the safety of our community. As we are in beta, we also reserve the right to modify or discontinue features as necessary for the platform's health.
